Thomas Beatie who received worldwide attention two years ago when he became the first known transgender man to give birth. Beatie and wife Nancy, who have a daughter and a son, are now expecting baby number three.
Beatie, born a woman, underwent a sex-change operation, but kept his reproductive organs.
In 2007, Beatie made headlines after pictures of his pregnant belly hit the Internet. Because of a hysterectomy, Nancy is unable to have children.
